2D & 3D Artists
Escalation Studios is always looking for multitalented 2D & 3D Artists to create content for Next Generation iPhone, Xbox360, PS3, Wii, PC and Mac games.
Required Skills
- Demonstrate high quality 2D and 3D content in a variety of styles
- Highly capable in Photoshop
- Proficient in at least one 3D modeling and animation package (Max, Maya, XSI)
- Experience with UV unwrapping and skinning of 3D objects and characters
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
Desired Skills
- Some animation skills or a desire to grow those skills
- Extreme passion for games
- Character art and world art skills
- Content that has shipped in a mod or a published title
- Proficiency in Deep Paint, Illustrator, Premiere, Flash
- Technically minded and not afraid to break open a text file
- At least 1 year of game industry experience or equivalency
- Experience with version control software (Perforce, CVS, Etc…)

Required Skills
- Familiarity with modern level building tools (Radiant, UnrealEd, Hammer) and/or relevant 3D software packages (3DS, Maya)

IT Administrator
Escalation Studios is looking for an experienced IS&T Administrator
Required Skills
- Cisco IOS and ASA understanding (Firewall and configuring remote L2L)
- Exchange 2007
- Active Directory (Group Policy)
- LAN/WAN Administration (L2-L4 mostly)
- Understand VLANs and VLSM
- Asterisk phone system knowledge (SIP trunking)
- Dell PowerEdge servers and DAS
- Linux, Unix, OpenSolaris knowledge (open source programs, Apache, Bug database..etc)
- Able to be self motivated and actively searching for new ways to improve infrastructure
- Some scripting and vbs. knowledge
- Split (Microsoft) DNS maintenance(Zones, MX,PTR,A records etc)
- Virus scanner and maintenance
- Monitoring bandwidth along with QoS
- Understanding the needs of individuals
- Max and Maya server understanding (LMTOOLS)
- Software compliance and auditing
- Backup solutions
- VM knowledge with VMWare or similar platforms
- Monitoring and Security system knowledge
- Strong understanding of standard network services, DNS, DHCP, NTP, FTP, TELNET and web languages/platforms PHP, HTML, mySQL, XML, etc..
- Microsoft WSUS server setup and maintenance for < 100 systems
- Able to configure, install and update/upgrade hardware and software.
- System building / ordering / management
- Remote server management experience. VPS setup/teardown and configurations.
- Inventory management
- Software / Hardware ordering and vendor management
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Experience managing deadlines and seeing projects through to completion in a fast-paced work environment
- Multitasking is an integral part of the position, as well as collaborating and working with a diverse team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required
- Applicant should have at least an Associate’s degree in Computer Networking, Programming, or equivalent industry experience
